Mine is wintertime too;”Don’t QUIT” poem
“But there is suffering in life, and there are defeats. No one can avoid them. But it’s better to lose some of the battles in the struggles for your dreams than to be defeated without ever knowing what you’re fighting for.” - Paulo Coelho
Some people get easy breaks from life struggles but some others don’t.
Ours have been in wintertime for the past few years. Have we gotten tired of this fight? Ah, on my part, those thoughts of quiting
To quick the fight is the easiest thing to do, isn’t it?
When things go wrong in life, people seek refuge. And we find ours in our faith.
Life hurdles may puzzle us but the sufficiency of His grace upholds us

DON’T QUIT
- author unknown -
When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high;
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit -
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit -
It’s when things go wrong that you mustn’t quit.

Hi Annita! I was reading some of your previous posts. I felt very identified with this one. The quotes are fascinating. They really made me think about my own goals and dreams. Especially now that I am going through a period of time at work where I don’t really know if I’m enjoying what I am doing everyday at the office or not…
I have read some of Paulo Coelho’s books and they are full of great quotes and inspirational ideas.
Have a great day!
