It’s a wordless Thursday for me.
My heart goes out to those who have lost their homes in California wildfires (and the firefighters who perished).
The sudden homelessness came - unforeseeable.
A home is not just a building structure built by bricks or lumbers. A home is a structure that hosts dreams as it is a sanctuary and a warm nest to many who call it “home sweet home.” A home is where childhood memories were written.
Therefore, a home is not merely a noun. It is very much AN ADJECTIVE.
In moments like this, may you walk with courage though how hard it must have been.
May the days ahead full of heaven wonders. And may heaven give you much needed strengths to go on.
BLESSINGS.

Life Still Has A Meaning
=== Author Unknown ===
If there is a future there is time for mending-
Time to see your troubles coming to an ending.
Life is never hopeless however great your sorrow-
If you’re looking forward to a new tomorrow.
If there is time for wishing then there is time for hoping-
When through doubt and darkness you are blindly groping.
Though the heart be heavy and hurt you may be feeling-
If there is time for praying there is time for healing.
So if through your window there is a new day breaking-
Thank God for the promise, though mind and soul be aching,
If with harvest over there is grain enough for gleaning-
There is a new tomorrow and life still has meaning.

My heart goes out to those affected by the fire too. They say it’s better for a thief to rob you than for fire to burn your house down.
But in the midst of all these things, God is still in control.
God be with you and have a nice weekend!
In God’s love,
Grace
It’s a great tribute Annita. I have some friends who are impacted by the fire.
One moved out to another friends house. He packed his things and all is well for now. We just hope that our other friend that he stayed with doesn’t get hit either.
God bless then all.
“A home is not just a building structure built by bricks or lumbers. A home is a structure that hosts dreams as it is a sanctuary and a warm nest to many who call it ‘home sweet home.’ A home is where childhood memories were written.”
Such a beautiful piece of prose there. Inspiring and a mighty tug at my heart-strings.
I am also worried about those that have lost their homes. I hope that they are able to rebuild not only their homes but also their lives.
Grace, you are so right that no matter what God is still in control.
one thing that has made me so mad that arsonist may started one of those big fires. myself is still puzzled by this heartless action. no right mind could understand the reason behind the arsonist’s mind.
hope your little princess had a wonderful birthday week ^_^ our babies are growing, aren’t they? .. good for them but may be not for the moms .. LOL .. no more babyish face etc etc
have a blessed weekend for you all!
Hello Rolando!!
thanks for using your free time to stop by here. appreciate it so much!!
my heart goes out to your friends too .I do hope their houses are covered by insurances. ahh, that’d be another headache.
glad to know you’re far away from the fires. at least two of my blogger friends are saved by the distance. so much relieved.
my cousin lives in LA area. lost contact w/ her as last time she was dead worried about the fire. she could have been evacuated .. or not … still waiting to hear from her soon
YEs, God bless them all!!
Erina, I do hope they could re-build their lives too.
May they still have enough courage to see the days ahead.
What meets the eyes now are discouraging and I must admit starting over is not an easy task.
HOWEVER it’d be interesting to see how a person’s inner strength would kick in and overcome the obstacles.
I believe in all of them. They’re courageous people.
Have a blessed weekend for you.
ps. thank you for the kind comment regarding the prose. still learning. not getting there yet

Hi Annita, Left you a comment just now but I think there was a problem with my internet connection. I hope it was published successfully
Hi Annita, I don’t think the comment was published before as I can’t read it here…anyway…Thanks a lot for sharing that wonderful poem with us. I believe that in these difficult situations it is very important to keep in mind these two key words that you mention in your post: courage and strenght. I have experienced that feeling of fear and hopelesness in my country because we have had several terrible earthquakes.
Have a lovely week!
Hello Annita! It’s a beautiful post. I was reading about the wildfires in California these last few days and also thought about what a tragedy it must be to lose one’s home and those dreams which are linked to the place, the memories and of course, the uncertainty of the future. I remember this so clearly because of the earthquakes in my country. We have had several ones there as well as floods…As you well mentioned the key words are: courage and strenght though it must be really hard…
Thanks for sharing that wonderful poem with us.
Have a lovely week!!
Hello Wen!!!
YES, I got them all!! Thank you for ur determination to keep on trying. It’s soooo sweet of you.
I think a home has deep sentimental values in everyone’s heart. It’s where they anchor their dreams, isn’t it?
Did your country just have an earthquake? … I could relate to you on this
.. yes, definitely not happy memories …
Take care there.
Have a lovely week too!!!!
Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful capture and poem.
Jon, many thanks for your kind words.
For some reasons, I could relate to what happened in California. Somehow it just reminded me to something.
Anyway, I have this believe that future still has its rainbows .. for many of us
Take care and God bless.
Future always has rainbows! We must always hold hope!
VERY TRUE indeed.
I’ve put HOPES in my pockets.
very interesting, but I don’t agree with you
