The ABCs of Me

Each person’s life is a story that is telling itself in the living.
~ A Quote by William Throsby Bridges
Rolando at R Playground has tagged on 3 Things that I Can’t Live Without. Wen at Delirante has also tagged me on a similar meme: 7 Facts of Me.
Frankly, since those two memes are very similar thus, I’ve decided to put them together in one post (Guys, I hope you don’t mind if I’ve done it this way).
So, here is the ABCs of Me.
#1. My Faith, My Coat.
Each person gets to choose their own coat. And I have chosen mine – my very own ‘coat.’
I am a born again Christian and I am who I am. There is the touch of God in everyone’s life – yours and mine.
#2. At the stillness of night, we send blessings prayer wrapped with much thoughts and love. It’s for our parents.
From outside a classroom, I spot a munchkin. She caught my gaze and suddenly blew me a kiss. I quickly caught the kiss before the jealous cold air steals it. The child is my daughter.
This man has given me a courage to believe in love. He has showed me that devotions can stand the test of time. Now, I have reasons to believe in – a marriage. We’ve been married close to 6 years. This great man is my husband.
Those people are my beloved. When I see my parents, I see my past. But when I see my own family, I see Present and … FUTURE

#3. Now, there is a tiny hand in my grip. There would be a special day when my husband gives my child away at a church altar. Without good health, my seat would be empty at any special moments in her life.
# 4. There are 3 thinkers living under our roof and only 3 of us here.
# 5. An English-AS-Second-Language Person
Being a bilingual person has taught me that none of any language in this world is better or above than the others.
# 6. Love those flat/ballet shoes.
In summer, flat shoes are my romance. In winter, I am always drawn back to my old romance – my comfy old sneakers. My irresistible boots (lined w/ thermal soles) are the other occasional affair. You could say that I have multiple on-and-off ‘affairs’ with … shoes.
# 7. This what Emily thinks of me. She wrote my name first and drew a picture of me. As always, a picture speaks louder than any written words. Perhaps.
All people have 24 hours a day. For little fingers who are still learning to count, 24 could be a big numerical number though adults may think differently.
Thus, I’m bending the MEME rules this time. As we are all approaching to the weekend, I’m not going to tag anybody.
Hope you could know me better after reading this post. Even if there are only 7 points, I think they do represent who I am.
Wishing you all a pleasant weekend filled with sweet memories and heaven blessings
Talk to you later,
~ Annita

Such beautiful and meaningful answers Annita. Your words are so poetic and deep. I’m sure you family knows how much you love them and what you mean to them.

I`m glad you gave me the link, now I think I know you better.
I love the way you answered every number, esp the coat, the munchkin and and your great man.I also have an on and off affair with shoes
A former suitor of mine gave me some tapes of Don Moen,I loved to listen to his songs, esp during my “down” times..His songs are soothing,it`s all the matter of beliefs, right?
I find the drawing so cute,it reflects all her messages.
Well,I wish you enjoy your weekend, too!

whoah!!what happened to my comment??test…
Hello Rolando
I’m blessed w/ a family who loves me as without them, I may not be who I am now.
Me and my hubby have been through a lot the past few years and I think this whole journey has made our love grown stronger.
Have a blessed new week too!!
~ Annnita
Ghee!!!
I apologize for this late reply!! .. we had a busy but pleasant weekend!! .. how was yours??
Ghee, thank you for telling me that I can write. The truth is A LOT of times I don’t think I can write at all. Either my words are too poetic or too philosophical.
I battled to let everybody knows where I stand w/ my God but glad I did. Some of my blog readers have different religions than mine and if I reveal who I am in my faith, I thought I would basically ‘turn them away.’
But again, this tag is about ‘me.’ I’ve embraced as who they are and I hope they would accept me as who I am .
Don Moen is one of my fave christian singers. I have an old taste and am clueless when it comes to current singers
About the pics (either on this post or other previous posts): I was not the photographer. Right in the very beginning of each post, I’ve put what is called “Image Source.” There you could find the name of photographers. But when it’s needed, I did enhance those pics digitally
OPS … this reply has gotten too long.
Wishing new blessings for you in this new week
Take care there!! and …. Yes, talk to you later

Hello Annita! I love Don Moen too. The songs of Steve Green, Sandi Patti and the like helped strengthen my faith in the Lord!
I do hope you and your family are doing well. It’s our church’s anniversary month so we’re also kind of busy with church related activities. I’m just glad that both my kids, as young as they are have been actively involved in the presentations.
Thank you for the friendship! God bless you!
An outstanding post. I really want to get to know you as a great fan, admirer, reader and prayer partner of yours. Thank you so much for the inspiration and the genuine visits and comments. Please forgive me in not visiting often and I find it a treasure to see a blog post from you. A humble prayer for you, Emily and your hubby. And you are blessed with so many friends as I can see rich content and blessings in all comments that are left as footprints from people whom you have touched upon with your kindness and prayers. Thank you.
Wow! I am speechless, Your answers are so beautiful Annita. Thanks a lot for sharing

Hello Annita. You truly are an amazing mom. Your family is very lucky indeed.
I smiled when I saw your profile of sorts (on your sidebar). How I envy your discipline. I wish I could say the same for myself
Hello Grace!
do you love Don Moen too? ^_^ I’ve found all his songs to be inspiring and beautiful. Love Sandi Pati too. Michael W. smith is my other fave singer. But I’m clueless w/ new comers.
bye the way, how was the church anniversary? You must be a proud mom as your children actively involve at the church. The munchkin is still too young to be involved at any presentations. Hopefully by next year, she’ll be older enough to be involved in drama musical.
Hope all is well. This morning is very cold and we had ‘black ice’ everywehre. Brrr.
Take care. And God bless!!

sooooo sorry that some your comment went to my Akismet Spam folder. I wonder why. Hmm, perhaps, your email address. I’m clueless too here
Ghee, thank you for your thoughtful comments. You are right I should regard them as ’strangers’ to those who just lurk. If they can’t relate anything w/ my writings – Just let it be.
